Dick B.'s Latest Talk, Escondido, CA; now on left navigation bar of www.dickb.com

In their latest trip to Southern California to define the role that God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Bible played in the astonishing successes of the early Akron A.A. Christian Fellowship, Dick B. and Ken B. spoke at Neighborhood Church, Escondido.

Walter Santos, noted percussionist and one who "sings for the King" provided great what he sometimes calls "Do wop for Jesus."

Ken B. introduced his dad Dick B. with a powerful message of "Hope" for the audience.

Dick B.'s talk was focused primarily on how the first three AAs--Bill Wilson, Dr. Bob Smith, and Bill Dotson--all believers in God, Christians, and worst-of-the-worst alcoholics--were cured of their alcoholism by turning to God for help. And said so!

This was how A.A. came into being. Founded on June 10, 1935 when Dr. Bob had his last drink. The first A.A. group--Akron Number One--was founded July 4, 1935 when Bill Dotson walked out of Akron City Hospital a free man--cured.

You can now hear the two recorded parts of this great performance by turning to the left navigation bar of Dick B.'s main website--www.dickb.com--and clicking in.

God Bless, Dick B.,

Dick B.’s body of work on the history and successes of early Alcoholics Anonymous includes seminars, books, articles, radio interviews, videos, audio cassettes tapes, audio blog talks, and newspaper articles. They show how the basic, and highly successful, biblical ideas used by early AAs can be valuable tools for success in today's A.A. Also, the religious and recovery communities are using his research and titles to work more effectively with alcoholics, addicts, and others involved in Twelve Step programs.
